These Terms set out the conditions for using KBeauty Wallet ("the Service"), operated by Afformation Inc. ("the Company"), and the rights and duties of the Company and each member.
Article 1 (Definitions)

- "Verification" means the process in which a member uploads a receipt for treatment received in Korea and the Company checks it.
- "Voucher" means the electronic token carrying the right to use a purchased product, including gift certificates.
- "Partner clinic" means a hospital or clinic under contract with the Company that accepts consultations and bookings through the Service.

- The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law.
- Amendments are announced from 7 days before they take effect until the day before. Amendments unfavourable to members are announced 30 days in advance and notified individually.
- A member who does not accept an amendment may refuse it and terminate the agreement before the effective date. Silence until the effective date is treated as acceptance.
Article 3 (Accounts and registration)
- Membership is formed when a user accepts these Terms and the Privacy Policy, completes registration, and the Company accepts.
- You may register with an email address or with a Google or LINE account.
- Children under 14 may not register. Where your country sets a higher age, that age applies.
- One person may hold only one account. Multiple accounts created to claim cashback more than once are treated as abuse.
- You may not transfer or lend your account to anyone else.
- If the information you provide is untrue, the Company may restrict your membership or refuse verification and point payments.
Article 4 (What the Service provides, and changes)
- Treatment verification and cashback points
- Medical records storage and document translation
- Consultation and booking brokerage with partner clinics, and chat
- Product sales and issuance of vouchers and gift certificates
- Reviews, membership tiers and referral benefits
- The Service is intended to run 24 hours a day, all year. It may be suspended for maintenance, network failure, natural disaster and similar causes.
- The Company may change what the Service offers. Changes unfavourable to members are announced 30 days in advance.
- Free features may be changed or discontinued under the Company’s policy.
Article 5 (Verification and cashback)
- You may upload only receipts for treatment you personally received at a medical institution in Korea.
- The Company reads the receipt automatically and, where needed, a reviewer checks it before approving or rejecting.
- On approval, points are paid at the rate for your membership tier. A per-submission cap and a daily submission limit apply; both are shown in the app.
- Re-uploading the same receipt, forged or altered receipts, and receipts for treatment you did not receive are rejected, and any points already paid are reclaimed.
- You may ask for a re-review of a rejection. A person will examine it.
- Receipts contain sensitive health information. The Company processes them only after obtaining separate consent.
Article 6 (Points)
Earning, spending and expiry of points are governed by the separate Points Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- Points are a cyber asset issued by the Company, not money. They cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another person, or inherited.
- Points earned by improper means are reclaimed.
- Remaining points are forfeited when you delete your account and cannot be restored.
Article 7 (Purchases and payment)
- You may order products at the price shown. Prices are in Korean won and include Korean VAT; amounts shown in other currencies are indicative conversions. Customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees charged in the destination country are not included in the price shown.
- Physical goods are shipped internationally from Korea to the overseas address you provide. All duties, import taxes and clearance fees levied by the destination country are payable by the recipient (DDU terms). These amounts depend on the rules of each country and on the type of goods, so we cannot state them in advance.
- If the recipient refuses to pay those charges or refuses delivery and the parcel is returned, the round-trip international shipping cost and any charges incurred in the return are borne by you and deducted from any refund. This does not apply where the return is caused by a defect, a wrong item or another fault on our side.
- You may pay with points, card or any other method the Service supports.
- The Company accepts an order after confirming payment and stock. No contract exists before acceptance.
- On completed payment a voucher or gift certificate is issued. Its validity period and where it can be used are shown on the product page.
- If the Company cannot accept an order — stock exhausted, supplier issues, a mispriced listing — it tells you without delay and refunds anything already paid.
Payment gateway and gift voucher supply contracts are to be confirmed. Those payment and issuance features are not offered until the contracts are in place.
Article 8 (Withdrawal of subscription and refunds)
Withdrawal and refunds are governed by the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Members may withdraw a subscription as provided by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Nothing in these Terms limits that right.
Article 9 (The Company’s role in clinic consultation and booking)
The Company is not a medical institution and does not practise medicine. It only connects members with partner clinics.
- The treatment contract is formed directly between the member and the clinic. The Company is not a party to it.
- The clinic is responsible for the outcome of treatment, for side effects and for aftercare.
- The Company passes on information supplied by the clinic (treatment types, indicative prices, expected duration). Final price and method are decided by the medical staff after examination.
- Treatment information and reviews shown in the Service are not medical advice. Always decide with a doctor.
- The Company does not engage in patient inducement or brokerage prohibited by the Korean Medical Service Act, and takes no payment for steering a member to a particular clinic.
Article 10 (Nature of translations)
- Translations exist to help you understand your own records. They are not a diagnosis or medical advice.
- Translation involves automated processing and may contain errors. Base any important decision on the original document and your doctor’s explanation.
- The Company does not warrant translations as certified translations for submission to institutions or insurers.
Article 11 (Member content)
- You keep the copyright in the reviews and photographs you post.
- You grant the Company permission to use that content inside the Service and on the Company’s official channels to operate and promote the Service. The permission is free of charge and ends for future use once you delete the content.
- Content that infringes others’ rights, false or exaggerated reviews, and advertising may be hidden or removed without prior notice.
- For content containing health information, such as before-and-after photographs, you choose the visibility. Nothing is made public without your consent.
Article 12 (Prohibited conduct)
- Uploading another person’s receipt or medical record as your own
- Forging or altering receipts or medical records
- Creating multiple accounts to claim cashback more than once
- Accessing the Service with automated tools or sending abnormally large volumes of requests
- Collecting, storing or publishing other members’ personal or medical information
- Damaging the reputation of, or obstructing, the Company, partner clinics or other members
- Using information obtained through the Service commercially without the Company’s prior consent
Article 13 (Restrictions and termination)
- If you breach Article 12 the Company may, in escalating order, warn you, restrict verification, reclaim points, suspend use, or terminate the agreement. Where the breach is clear and serious, use may be suspended immediately.
- Before acting the Company states the reason and the evidence and gives you a chance to respond. In urgent cases it acts first and tells you without delay.
- You may terminate at any time in [My] → [Settings] → [Delete account].
- On termination remaining points are forfeited. Vouchers and gift certificates already issued are not voided by termination; you may use them or seek a refund under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Article 14 (Liability)
- The Company works to keep the Service stable and compensates loss caused by its intent or negligence in accordance with applicable law.
- The Company is not liable for failures caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disaster, power failure or carrier outage.
- For loss arising in a third party’s sphere — the outcome of treatment at a partner clinic, the circumstances of a voucher’s redemption point — the Company is liable only to the extent it is at fault.
- The Company is not liable for loss caused by your own failure to keep your account credentials safe, unless the Company is at fault.
Article 15 (Notices)
The Company gives notice through in-service alerts, push notifications and the email address you registered. Notices to all members may be given by posting an announcement. Changes unfavourable to members and material privacy matters are notified individually.
Article 16 (Governing law and disputes)
- These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea.
- The Company and the member will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute by discussion.
- Where discussion fails, jurisdiction follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act. A member who is a consumer may sue in the court for their own address or place of residence.
- These Terms are published in six languages. If the versions differ, the Korean text governs for the purposes of Korean law.
